Apple Bloom and Chaw chapter 3

Later, Kikyo ran into the control center as she shouted in rage, "WHERE ARE THEY?!?!"

"They're still in hyperspace." A teenage boy named Maurice (A/N: from Codename: Kids Next Door) responded. Around them, many control operators worked frantically at their controls, trying to locate the lost ship.

"Where will those little menaces exit?" Kikyo asked.

"Calculating now," a girl named Tron Bonne (who sat behind a control panel) said as an image of 6-2-6's ship materialized on the huge screen. Kikyo watched closely as the little ship flew towards a little planet mostly covered in blue with hints of green on it.

"Quadrant 17... Section 005... Area 51... A planet called EEE-aar-th." Tron explained.

"I want an expert on this planet in here now." Kikyo ordered. She then noticed the blue surface of the planet, and asked, "What is that?"

"Water. Most of the planet is covered in it." An admiral named Kevin Levin (A/N: from Ben 10: Alien Force/Ultimate Alien) said.

"They won't survive in water. Their molecular density is far too great." The priestess/councilwoman remembered.
Everyone heard this and relaxed. But she had spoken too soon. As the ship on the screen moved in on the planet, Kikyo saw a green dot on the planet.

"No..." She gasped.

Then, the dots came into focus, revealing it to be Equestria, and the little ship was headed for a place called Ponyville. The others groaned, and let out a chorus of, 'Aw, man!'.

"Hm. Of course." Kikyo assumed, and she turned back towards Tron, asking, "How much time do we have?"

"It looks like they'll be landing on that island in three hours, and forty-two minutes." Tron told her.

Kikyo then groaned, "I'm afraid we'll have to gas the planet."

"Hold it! Hold everything!" Someone exclaimed.

Kikyo turned to see a white duck with light blue eyes, an orange beak, and an armload of charts rushing toward her. He was wearing a blue admiral's attire, but his orange webbed feet are showing.

"Earth is protected by a wildlife reserve." The duck explained. He unrolled a chart, revealing a picture of a plump, healthy mosquito as he spoke, "We've been using it to rebuild the mosquito population," He re-rolled the chart "which, need I remind you, is an endangered species!" When he said this last, he hits Kikyo's shoulder with the chart.

"Am I to assume you are the expert on this planet?" Kikyo inquired.

The duck chuckled, "Well, I'm not too sure about the title 'expert'." He then noticed Kikyo impatiently glaring at him, and said, "Agent Donald Duck at your service."

"Well, can we not simply destroy the island?" She asked him.

"No! Crazyhead!" Donald scolded, making Kikyo wide-eyed at this. He then puts a slide wheel into a red ViewMaster as he continued, "The mosquitoes' food of choice, human life forms, have colonies all over that planet."

He then handed the little red toy to Kikyo, who peered through the lenses, and asked, "Are they intelligent?"
"Not exactly." Donald answered, "But they're very delicate. In fact, every time an asteroid strikes their planet, they have to begin life all over again. It's really fascinating, isn't it?"

Kikyo handed the ViewMaster back to Donald with a sigh of frustration, and she asked, "What if our military forces just landed there?"

"Well, that would be a BAD IDEA! These are extremely sensitive creatures, your Grand Councilwoman-ness." Donald explained as he shook his head, "Having the military forces land there would cause extremely mass mayhem and planetwide panic."

Kikyo began to lose her patience. "A quiet capture would require an understanding of Star Warriors 6-2-6 and 6-2-1 that we do not possess!" She snapped. "Who, then, Mr. Duck, would YOU send for their extraction?"

Donald thought for a minute, and asked, "Do those little monsters have a brother?"

Kikyo rolled her eyes, and then narrowed them thoughtfully.

"Close grandmother, perhaps?"

Later, Kikyo and Donald (who followed closely behind Kikyo in a scared fashion) walked through the local prison.

"A nice relative?" Donald guessed in a scared tone, "A neighbor with a beard? A big, fat blue-feathered penguin king wearing a red robe and hat?"

(A/N: See the irony in the last part of that line?)

The two then got onto a platform that went up the wall as if like an elevator.

Meanwhile, in a cell, Megamind (who was now wearing a dark blue and cyan-striped t-shirt and pants) was looking at a newspaper that he held in his hands. On the front page was a picture of him wearing a lab coat standing in front of an erect operating table, on which Experiment 6-2-6 was strapped to. What really made Megamind growl with anger was the headline that read 'IDIOT SCIENTIST JAILED!'. His fists shook with anger, and he roared, tearing the newspaper to shreds, and then started eating them.

That was when the door to his cell slid open, and Megamind stopped in the middle of eating the newspaper shreds when he saw Kikyo and Donald enter. Donald immediately hid behind Kikyo, totally scared of going near Megamind.
Megamind chuckled as he tossed a shred of paper away and he asked, "Don't tell me. He got away?"

"I see that you are not surprised by this." Kikyo assumed.

"I designed this creature to be unstoppable." Megamind smirked, flexing his arm muscle, "I did the same to Star Warrior 6-2-1 who joined him on his escape."

"Which is why you must now bring them back." Kikyo replied.

Megamind turned back towards her, and asked in surprise, "What? Me?"

"And for your reward, your freedom will be traded for 6-2-6 and 6-2-1's capture." Kikyo finished.
With a sigh, Megamind sat down with a heavy thud on the edge of his cell bunk. "6-2-6 and 6-2-1 won't come easily." He said, and he got an idea, "Maybe a direct hit at them from a plasma rifle will stun them long enough to-"

That was when Kikyo interrupted him sharply by saying, "Plasma rifle granted. Do we have a bargain, Dr. Megamind?"

Megamind gave her a smile, and a grunt of agreement in response as he nodded. That was Donald tugged lightly on Kikyo's robe, and she bent down to his level.

"It's a totally delicate planet!" Donald exclaimed, and he whispered to her in singsong, "Who's going to control him?"

"You will." Kikyo said with a smile to Donald before she left.

Donald then laughed lightheartedly, "Good one, your Grand Councilwoman-ness! I-" He suddenly stopped when he heard the cell doors slam shut. "You're- you're not joking!" He shouted in despair.

Megamind then stood up and walked over to Donald as a crazed look came into the flame alchemist's eyes, and he asked the poor little duck admiral, "So, tell me, my little invertebrate friend: On what poor, pitiful, defenseless planet have my little monstrosities been unleashed?"

Donald gulped really nervously.
